1. To freeze motion I used the shutter speed of about 1/1000.
2. I used auto for the WB because there were two light sources.
3. Not on a point and shoot camera.
4. I froze people moving either themselves or other objects.
5. For photos 5 and 6 I was far away from the subject matter and for photos 1-4 I was close up to the subject matter. All the point of view for the photos were straight on.
6. The background helps to strengthen photos 1 and 2. The contrast of the sweatshirt brought out what i was focusing on. I also liked the other artwork the was my background for photos 3 and 4, it made the negative space more interesting. The strong color of the fabric in picture 6 also makes you focus on what your supposed to.
Photo 3 (slow shutter speed)
7. In photo 3 I used the shutter speed of 1/13 to get it to be slow/a blur.
8. I also used auto for WB since there was two light sources in the art gallery.
9. Not on a point and shoot.
10. The part of the image that shows blur is the egg beater, its out of focus as it moves while the background is clear.
11. I was very close to the egg beater when I took the photo, not close enough where i didn't get any background but close enough to only get some background.
12. This photo follows the rule of thirds and also has a shallow depth feel with the background of the skull. There is also the blur of motion that stands out well in this photo.
